Prof. Pamela Dube

The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) appointed Professor Pamela Zibuyile Dube as the Vice-Chancellor and Principal effective from 01 January 2023.

Prof. Dube is an accomplished international leader in academia, having attained numerous qualifications from various national and international universities. She is also the first woman to hold the position of Vice-Chancellor and Principal at CUT and the first female Vice-Chancellor in the Free State.

Dr Choice Makhetha

Dr Kelebogile Choice Makhetha was appointed Executive Director in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, at the Central University of Technology (CUT), from 01 November 2024 - 31 October 2029. She is excited to return to CUT, where she previously (January 2018 - July 2019) served as the Transformation Advisor.

Mr Setumo Llale

Mr Setumo Llale was appointed Executive Director: Resources and Operations, effective 01 December 2024. With a robust professional background spanning 20 years, 15 of which have been dedicated to the higher education sector, Mr Llale brings a wealth of experience to his role.

Professor Phata David Ngidi

Prof. David Phathabantu Ngidi joined the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities on 1 July 2010. Before joining CUT, Professor Ngidi was working for the University of Zululand (1995-2010).

Mr Mili Nemutshili

Mr Milingoni (Mili) Nemutshili joined CUT as Director Financial Operations in May 2020 and later acting CFO from July 2021. He brings impeccable credentials into his newly acquired portfolio as CFO. A Qualified Professional Accountant (SA) and member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), Milli holds a BCom (Accounting and Auditing) degree from Vista University and a Senior Management Development Programme from the Wits Business School. He matriculated from Ligege Secondary School in Limpopo Province in the year 1996.

Dr Joe Molete

Dr Molete has a wealth of experience. With over fifteen years in the research and technology commercialisation environment, a decade in the academic sector, and many years at the executive level, his track record speaks for itself. He has held esteemed positions such as Executive Director at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research/ CSIR Biosciences, Chief Executive Officer at BioPAD, and Portfolio Manager at Cape Biotech Trust (CBT).
