Fire safety at Welkom Campus

At the Welkom Campus, the team has completed a critical project to enhance fire safety and resilience in an area affected by water scarcity. The project included the installation of a fire tank, secure fencing, access gates, and a dedicated pump room to support the campus’s fire protection system. Additionally, new fire hydrant standpipes were reinforced with concrete to ensure durability and reliability. This development strengthens campus safety measures, ensuring preparedness for fire emergencies while addressing the challenges of limited water availability in the region.
