Additional Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for this qualification is the Senior Certificate (SC), National Senior Certificate (NSC) or the National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV) with appropriate subject combinations and levels of achievement as defined below: Candidates who matriculated with Senior Certificate (SC) in 2007 or before must have obtained a least a minimum of 40% on Standard Grade or 30% on Higher Grade in Mathematics and English. Candidates who matriculated with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or a National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV) from 2008 onwards must have obtained:

Career Opportunities
Prospective students who had mathematics up to Grade 11, but who do not qualify for STEM-related offerings could be admitted into this programme. Upon completion students may:

Remarks
- All instructional offerings are compulsory.
- Any application for subject recognition will be considered ONLY for subjects completed at equivalent level, not at a lower level.
- The qualification will be issued upon completion of 132 credits.
- One intake per year, in January.
- After successful completion of this qualification, the Higher Certificate will be conferred during an official graduation ceremony of CUT.
