This language orientated programme is aimed at producing candidates who will have the competence to combine language theory and praxis effectively and independently to accommodate the pragmatic needs of language and communication clients in both African and international contexts. The inclusion of a Media Studies component will enhance the quality of Language Practitioners who will graduate, the inclusion of a WIL component will expose students to the world of work and what shall be required of them and the core curriculum will improve student success rates in the Department of Communication Sciences.
