Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016The training course leading to MCSA on Windows Server 2016 consists of three (3) modules that addresses the Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016 (70-740), Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016 (70-741), and Identity with Windows Server 2016 (70-742). The module 740 covers the installation, storage, and compute functionalities available in Windows Server 2016. Candidates perform general installation tasks, as well as creating and managing images for deployment; the 741 module addresses the tasks related to the networking features and functionalities available in Windows Server 2016. Implementing and managing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, as well as deploying remote access solutions such as VPN and RADIUS. The module 742 covers the identities using the functionalities in Windows Server 2016. Candidates install, configure, manage, and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) as well as implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs).*This certification has been retired. Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE): Core InfrastructureThe Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure training and exam has MCSA as a prerequisite. The training course leading to MCSE certification consist of two (2) modules that addresses the securing Windows Server 2016 (70-744) and Implementing a Software-Defined Datacentre (70-745). The module 70-744 covers methods and technologies used to harden server environments and secure virtual machine infrastructures using Shielded and encryption-supported virtual machines and Guarded Fabric. The module 70-745 covers implementing a software-defined datacentre (SDDC) with Windows Server 2016 and Microsoft System Centre 2016 Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).*This certification has been retired. Writing the certification exams after training is no longer possible.MCSA6 x 2 hours p/w sessions or else 10 daysR7 000


Note the following conditions that apply to the training:

  1. The above dates are planned dates. We reserve the right to cancel classes should too few people enrol into a class. We will notify all enrolled candidate if the schedule has to change at least 2-3 weeks before the start date of the course via the e-mail presented to us by the candidate. In the event of such cancellation, all course fees that have already been paid by the affected individual or institution for the specific cancelled class, will be refunded.
  2. Enrolment cancellation will only be accepted up to 3 weeks before the start date of a class. Should an individual cancel his/her enrolment after this date, he/she might still be liable for the full course fees.
  3. All enrolments or cancellations should be confirmed via e-mail (aakanbi@cut.ac.za).
  4. Course fees quoted above include VAT.
  5. Course fees are payable no later than on the start date of the class. We reserve the right to deny access to the class if this condition has not been met and if no alternative arrangements have been made.
  6. To enable us to process the invoices for training costs, please provide the following details: Contact details of person responsible for the invoice (First Name, Surname, e-mail, telephone number).
