Young CUT scientist ready to break new ground at Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

Ms Thandi Gumede, a young scientist at CUT, is ready to take the world by storm. She is among the 600 outstanding young scientists globally that will participate in the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting scheduled to take place from 30 June to 05 July 2019 in Lindau, Germany.
Ms Thandi Gumede, Lecturer in the Department of Life Science at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT), has been selected to participate in the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting scheduled to take place from 30 June to 05 July 2019 in Lindau, Germany. Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting is an annual meeting that serves as a platform for outstanding young scientists to discuss key questions in science with 30 Nobel Laureates. The purpose of the meeting is to foster exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures and disciplines. The scientific programme of each Lindau Meeting is based on the principle of dialogue. The different sessions include lectures, discussions, master classes, and panel discussions designed to activate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience between and among Nobel Laureates and young scientists. Thandi is among the 600 exceptional young scientists globally to be given this opportunity to enrich and share the unique atmosphere of the Lindau Meeting.
