Enactus CUT crowned Enactus South Africa Summer Action Challenge Champions

Enactus CUT team recently crowned as Enactus South Africa Summer Action Challenge Champions.

Enactus Summer Action Challenge aims to encourage Enactus Teams to utilise their summer breaks productively. The challenge equips teams with a detailed pack outlining actionable steps they can take during the summer holidays.  Congratulations to Enactus CUT for winning 2023/24 Enactus Summer Action Challenge in the various categories.

Out of the 27 Higher Learning Institutions participating in challenge, CUT was awarded for making most progress in their operations and enterprises. Moreover, new student-owned enterprises within Enactus CUT (Quantum Leap and Bellatra Tech) were recognised.  Quantum Leap, a newly established enterprise, has received R500 for progressing well as a newly established enterprise. BellatraTech was also recognised as an established project and also received R500 cash award. The individual leadership award under finance category went Nokwanda Maphumulo, Chief Financial Officer of the organisation, for displaying excellence in finance.

Itumeleng Phoka, Enactus CUT President, said the team is delighted for participating in the challenge. “As the President, I am honoured to witness my team winning so many awards in this challenge and gaining recognition among their peers. We are grateful for the support received from our faculty advisors, the Business Advisory Board Members, sponsors and our CUT community at large.”
