CUT Welkom Campus foster collaborations with local Community Enterprises to strengthen local economies

The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) Welkom Campus held a Community Enterprises Engagement workshop envisioned to strengthen local economies. Hosted by the Campus Principal, Dr Joe Molete, the interactive workshop brought entrepreneurs and small enterprises together, providing them with a platform to network, collaborate, and explore possible partnerships with the university and their fellow entrepreneurs.
Participants gained valuable insights on opportunities for business growth and learnt more about proposed enterprise development programs designed to assist in the advancement of small businesses in the area.
In his comment, Dr Molete said “as an engaged university, we are committed to building strong and sustainable relationships with our local entrepreneurs and support the growth and development of our local economy. We also want them to contribute to the development of our campus strategy. We see this workshop as an important step in the right direction,” he said.

Entrepreneurs engaged in possible strategic collaborations envisioned to shape the future of local economies as well as proposed enterprise development programs designed to assist them in driving the economy to greater heights.
