Enactus CUT students collaborate with local stakeholders to promote Sustainable Development Goals through entrepreneurs' expo

Enactus CUT students are enterprise leaders with stakeholders from NYDA, SEDA, FNB, Harambe Youth Accelerator, and Matjhabeng Local Municipality.
To raise awareness of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, Enactus CUT recently organised the Enact with Us Entrepreneurs expo at Welkom Campus. The occasion sparked relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem and honoured student-run social enterprises.
Along with encouraging collaboration with important support networks like the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), First National Bank (FNB), Harambe Youth Accelerator, and Matjhabeng Local Economic Development Unit, the exhibition also provided a platform to increase the impact of Enactus CUT student ventures.
In addition to advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals, which underscore the relationship between entrepreneurship and worldwide sustainability, the occasion sought to establish a cooperative atmosphere where students could access chances and resources crucial for success as entrepreneurs.
Participants learned how the six students who led Enactus Enterprises actively pursued these objectives through their creative solutions.
The businesses displayed during the event offered a wide range of goods and services, all in line with certain Sustainable Development Goals. SDGs 1—No Poverty, 2—Zero Hunger, and 3—Good Health and Well-Being SDGs 4 and 5: Gender Equality and Quality Education, SDGs 7–12: Sustainable Consumption and Production; SDG 8–12: Decent Work and Economic Growth; SDG 10–Reduced Inequalities; SDG 11–Sustainable Cities and Communities; and SDG 17–Partnership for the Goals. The student enterprises showcased their entrepreneurial skills and their part in accomplishing these objectives through their endeavours.
