Game on, degree done: CUT athletes master sport and study
From field to finish line: CUT Rugby Captain, Tokelo Ntaopane (centre) celebrated his academic achievement with his mother and sister.
Various CUT athletes took to the stage as part of the 3,248 graduates at the 2026 Autumn Graduation ceremonies (Bloemfontein Campus). Among them were CUT Rugby captain Tokelo Ntaopane, along with volleyball players Seruwe Kenneth Mofokeng and Koena Mosa Ramela, who celebrated this milestone alongside their families.
Tokelo Ntaopane graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Technology and is currently pursuing his Honours in Education Management. Seruwe Mofokeng and Koena Ramela both achieved their qualifications in Information Technology cum laude, marking an outstanding academic accomplishment.
All three athletes reflected on the vital role sport played in their academic journeys. They noted how it sharpened their focus, refreshed their minds, enhanced concentration, and instilled essential skills such as careful planning, effective time management, and self-discipline.
