Milingoni Nemutshili appointed as CUT Chief Financial Officer

CUT welcomes the appointment of Mr Milingoni (Mili) Nemutshili as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 01 November 2023. 

Milli is no stranger to CUT; he first joined CUT as Director Financial Operations in May 2020 and later acting CFO from July 2021. He brings impeccable credentials into his newly acquired portfolio as CFO.  A Qualified Professional Accountant (SA) and member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), Milli holds a BCom (Accounting & Auditing) degree from Vista University and a Senior Management Development Programme from the Wits Business School. He matriculated from Ligege Secondary School in Limpopo Province in the year 1996.

With over 22 years of experience in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management, Milli has served in both the private and public sectors (local, provincial, and national) and higher education. He held several management roles as Head of Finance for Waste Bureau SA (2018 – 2020), Director Finance for the Department of Health Limpopo (2017-2018), Director SCM for SASSA Johannesburg Region (2014 – 2016), Director Finance for Department of Home Affairs Mpumalanga (2011 – 2013), Financial Manager for Department of Education Limpopo (2008 – 2011) and Acting Financial Manager / Senior Accountant for Gauteng Economic Development Agency (2002 – 2006).  

He has also served as a Non-Executive Board Member for Univen Innovative Growth Company (Pty) Ltd (August 2023 to date) and CUT Innovation Services (Pty) Ltd (July 2021 to December 2022). As the Chief Financial Officer, Milli will be responsible for Financial Reporting, Fees and Financial Aid and Financial Operations
