Check the graduate lists whether your name reflects as a possible or confirmed graduate. Address any outstanding issues timely.

BLOEMFONTEIN CAMPUS

Graduations are set to take place at the Boet Troskie Hall.

Before the ceremony

  1. Academic Attire: We are excited to announce that all graduates at the Autumn 2026 graduation ceremonies will be robed in CUT's newly designed graduation attire. Order form Graduation attire (PDF).
  2. Walking across the stage: There will be a demonstration in the venue on the day of your graduation.
  3. Photos: Should you require on-stage photography on the day of graduation (PDF), ensure your form for the photography has been completed and the necessary payment has been made – this is a service delivered by an external provider.

On the day of the ceremony

  • Every student may bring 2 guests to the graduation. No children are allowed.
  • Your nametag and seat number indicating your reserved seat in the Boet Troskie Hall will be issued in the foyer of the hall an hour or so before the ceremony. 
  • All students who will have degrees/diplomas/certificates conferred upon them are kindly requested to take their seats at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony.
Autumn Graduation: All doors of the venues will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the ceremonies, after which time no persons will be allowed into the hall(s).  The doors will remain closed until the end of the ceremony and candidates must remain seated until the end of the ceremony.
