Before the Ceremony: Preparation
Please ensure you have completed the following steps prior to your graduation day.
1. Academic Attire
We are excited to announce that all graduates at the Autumn 2026 graduation ceremonies will be robed in CUT's newly designed graduation attire.

To ensure a smooth and dignified procession, a brief demonstration on how to walk across the stage and receive your qualification will be provided in the venue on the day of your graduation.
3. On-Stage Photography
Should you require professional on-stage photography on the day of graduation, please note this is a service delivered by an external provider.

On the Day of the Ceremony
Important Guidelines for Graduates and Guests
- Guest Limit: Every student may bring a maximum of 2 guests to the graduation.
- Age Restriction: Please note that no children are allowed in the venue.
- Seating and Nametags: Your nametag and reserved seat number for the Boet Troskie Hall will be issued in the foyer of the hall approximately one hour before the ceremony begins.
- Graduate Arrival Time: All students having degrees, diplomas, or certificates conferred upon them are kindly requested to take their seats at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony.
Graduation Venue Protocol
All doors of the venues will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the ceremonies. After this time, no persons will be allowed into the hall. The doors will remain closed until the end of the ceremony, and all candidates and guests must remain seated until the formal conclusion of the event.
