The Central University of Technology (CUT) will host its Annual Winter School from 06-10 July at the Welkom Campus, bringing together researchers, academics and postgraduate students for a week of knowledge exchange, collaboration and research development.
The CUT Winter School serves as an important platform for strengthening the University’s research culture. It creates a space where participants can engage with contemporary research topics, share insights and develop practical strategies that contribute to enhancing research productivity and improving postgraduate completion rates.
Guided by the theme “Reinventing Our Research Landscape: Creating a CUT Above the Best,” the Winter School will encourage meaningful discussions around research excellence, supervision practices and innovative approaches to advancing scholarly work within the institution and beyond.
The programme is designed for mixed participation, welcoming, postgraduate students, academics, researchers and Individuals with an interest in research and postgraduate supervision
The Winter School will feature interactive engagements and keynote sessions, with keynote speakers and facilitators to be confirmed and announced at a later stage.
Expected Participants: 150 delegates
Registration Fee: R1 500 per participant
