Update on Ms Laila Nnyane’s affiliation with the Central University of Technology

The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) Management wishes to clarify recent public discussions concerning Ms Laila Nnyane, the former Station Manager of CUT FM. We confirm that Ms Nnyane is no longer affiliated with the university.

Her contract ended in July 2025, and the university elected not to renew it. In line with our policies and applicable labour regulations, the university cannot provide further details on this personnel matter.

We value the patience and understanding of our stakeholders during this period. We want to assure you that we are committed to open communication and transparency while also respecting the confidentiality required in employment matters. CUT continues to uphold its values of accountability, integrity, and transparency in all its decisions.
