Spring Graduation 2022 candidates

Kindly note that the university management resolved to defer the 2022 Spring Graduation Ceremony which was planned for September 2022 to the 2023 Autumn Graduation Ceremonies. The Central University of Technology experienced student protest in the beginning of the academic year 2022 which affected the academic calendar and student performance. Deferring the September graduation is regrettable, however necessary under the circumstances.

What does this mean for candidates who qualify to graduate?

All graduates who have met the requirements for their qualification will be awarded their qualifications in absentia, including final transcripts, at their registered campus on 04 November 2022.

These graduates will be included in the next faculty graduation ceremonies to be hosted at the Bloemfontein and Welkom campuses in 2023 (04 - 11 May).

It is important to note that completion letters were sent out to the graduate’s e-mail addresses from 04 October 2022.

Check the lists on the CUT Graduate list’s webpage

The final lists were uploaded from 04 - 06 March 2023.

If you are of the opinion that you have complied with all academic requirements for your qualification to be awarded but your name does not appear on the lists, contact your Assessment and Graduation Unit (AGU) faculty employee (indicated on Graduate list link).
