Private accommodation guidelines and forms

The Central University of Technology prefers that students use a CUT Accredited Accommodation as mandated by the DHET guidelines.

The Residence Life office will have to confirm the non-availability of space in CUT residences and accredited accommodation before accepting the application.

Guidelines: How to complete the private rental (non-accredited) accommodation claim (PDF)

  1. Claim  form for private rental of property - LS 139.3 (PDF)
  2. Payment for private rental property - LS 210.3 (PDF)
  3. Rental agreement between the landlord and a student - LS137.3 via private negotiations or if the student lives at home (PDF)
