The CUT Council determines the various fees payable annually. This guide outlines our structured payment conditions, available discounts, and important policies regarding refunds and residence fees to help you manage your financial commitments effectively.

Conditions of Payment
To assist with financial planning, CUT offers structured monthly instalment plans based on your registration type:
Year Students
Monthly instalments of equal payments over nine (9) months.
Final Due Date: End of October annually.
Semester 1 Students
Monthly instalments of equal payments over four (4) months.
Final Due Date: End of May annually.
Semester 2 Students
Monthly instalments of equal payments over four (4) months.
Final Due Date: End of October annually.

CUT offers specific discounts to support families and encourage upfront settlement of accounts.
Family Household Discount
When two or more students from the same family household are simultaneously registered at CUT, the following tuition discounts apply:
- Second student: 15% discount
- Third and fourth students: 25% discount
Upfront Payment Discount
A discount of 10% is granted if all tuition fees are paid in full, in cash or by bank-guaranteed cheque, upon registration.
Please note: Accounts may be settled by credit card, but the cash discount is not applicable to credit card transactions.
Important Financial Policies
Refunds & Academic Clearance
- Application Fee: Non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Accommodation Deposit: Refunded only if no accommodation is available or the applicant is not selected.
Exam Registration: Students may only register for assessments if all fees for the current year are paid in full. Results will be withheld if a student is in arrears.
Reregistration: Students with outstanding balances from a previous year must settle the account in full before being permitted to reregister.
Residence Accommodation
No cancellation credits shall be payable, irrespective of the point in time at which the student vacates the residence.
Note: One night spent in the residence is regarded as equivalent to the student having resided there for the entire month.

If an employer has agreed to accept responsibility for the full payment of tuition and/or accommodation fees, the student must include the official notification letter with their registration documents.
This letter must clearly indicate the specific date(s) on which the payment(s) will be made to the university.
