Professional Background
Prof. Pieter Fourie is Professor and Head of the Department of Agriculture at the Central University of Technology, Free State. He lectures fourth- and fifth-year students and previously served as Research Manager of the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences.
He is registered as a Professional Scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
His academic training encompasses Agricultural Management, Agriculture, Management Development and Post-School Education, with qualifications obtained from Technikon Free State, the Central University of Technology, Free State, the University of the Free State and Technikon SA.
He has extensive postgraduate supervision experience and has successfully supervised 21 master's and five doctoral students.
