INTERNALISATION ACTIVITIES | Member of the CUT FHUM Internationalisation committee: Met with Prof Rose Mugweni, (Dean of Education, RG Mugabe School of Education) at her GZU office in December 2019. Prof Mugweni expressed willingness to work with CUT and looks forward to a CUT visit that Prof Alexander is mulling. The MoU with Chung-Ang University was signed at institutional level. Prof Makura had been scheduled to explore possibilities for activities with Chung-Ang University, upon his envisaged participation in a conference scheduled for October 2019 in South Korea (Could not travel due to the advent of Covid-19 in that part of the globe). | ||
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECT(S) | Actively involved as mentor in the Brilliance Extra Classes Society of CUT’s initiative of offering tuition to the 2020 Matric class at selected public and private schools in Free State. Secondly, acting as External examiner for several Masters’ and Doctoral candidates at several universities in South Africa and SADC region (UKZN, NWU, UFS, UFH, UL, UNISA and GZU) | ||
