SHORT CV
Mahlape Mokone  is a full time   Lecturer at Central University of Technology , Bloemfontein, South Africa. She serves in the Department of Educational and Professional Studies, Faculty of Humanities.  Her research areas include induction support of novice teachers in their first year of teaching, professional development of student teachers and self-efficacy.
She is currently pursuing her PhD at Central University of Technology, and her thesis is titled "Self-efficacy expectations of novice teachers: an induction support framework for improved teaching performance."

Her  teaching philosophy is to make my lesson plans relatable. She use a hands-on technique  and incorporate fun into her lessons when possible. Also her her teaching philosophy is   to focus on building students' independent study habits.  Even when students are engaged in a lesson.
As a lecturer, it is my responsibility to know who my students  are, what kinds of knowledge and experience they bring to the group, and what they want to achieve so that I can tailor a curriculum that fits their needs and yet leaves enough room to accommodate topics that emerge from group discovery. To create an environment that allows for supervised exploration. I believe that the most significant learning occurs in situations that are both meaningful and realistic.

Her full affiliation details are as follows: M.V.Mokone at  Central University of Technology, NO 30 President Brand street, Bloemfontein, 9301.
