Special Graduation Ceremony opportunity at the end of the year

Kindly note that the university has decided to arrange a special graduation ceremony to allow all students who have submitted the required outstanding documents to graduate before the end of the year. Those who submitted by 25 August 2023 are currently being processed.

The process will include formal approval by Senate. The decision was made with the student’s best interest in mind, as we believe that every student deserves an opportunity to celebrate and experience the joy and recognition of their well-earned qualification.

The university Senate, at its meeting of 28 August 2023, resolved as follows:

  1. The graduation ceremony of 01 September 2023 will continue as communicated.
  2. Students who have submitted their outstanding documents will be allowed to graduate at the end of the year (2023).
  3. Further information regarding the special graduation ceremony will be shared on all university platforms to ensure your participation.

The University endeavours to protect the integrity of its qualifications, and we appeal to students to acknowledge the decision taken by the Senate to allow special graduation opportunities.

We celebrate the achievements of both groups of graduating students.

Kind regards
