Communique: Heritage Day Celebration 2022

Dear CUT Community

September is a very important month in our country’s calendar where we come together as a rainbow nation to celebrate our roots, and embrace the rich, diverse, and vibrant cultures that make up our nation.

As CUT, our celebration is scheduled to take place on Friday 23 September 2022 at 10:00 sharp! We call upon all staff and students to join our Heritage Celebrations on the Hockey field.

We have a sterling lineup of activities in store for you, including sumptuous meals, traditional renditions and music and dance.

Dress up and show up in your traditional regalia, be part of this celebration, and share and enjoy the music, diverse cultures, and food.

Don’t forget to bring your traditional wear including Basotho attire, seshoeshoe, xibelani, izidwaba; minweda, or any of attire that will represent your identity in a diverse society.

We look forward to seeing colleagues with their beautifully painted faces and head gears.

Let us make this day a day to remember!

Kind regards / Ditumediso tse mofuthu / Vriendelike groete

Prof. Alfred Ngowi
Acting Vice-Chancellor and Principal
