Suspension of academic activities and operations on Bloemfontein campus
CUT Management held a meeting yesterday (9 March 2021) in an effort to find a viable solution to the end of terms of office by the current SRC. Because of sporadic incidents of protests by some students, management wish to inform employees, students, and their parents that all operations will be suspended on campus from Wednesday, 10 March 2021 until Friday, 12 March 2021. This includes the planned events (Official Opening, Orientation etc.).
Employees will work remotely from home while students will carry on their registration processes online.
Management wishes to express their utter regret over the inconveniences that you have experienced earlier on campus.
Further details will be provided before the close of business on Friday, 12 March 2021.
