| PORTFOLIO | In my current role as a Work Integrated Learning Coordinator and Industry Liaison, I mainly assist with the implementation and monitoring of work-integrated learning programmes in line with the institutional vision and liaise with industry on the various offerings at CUT. I assist with planning events for the careers office, wellness centre, including organising and presenting student workshops. I form part of the Lejweleputswa Innovation Platform Team that hosted a series of online Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshops highlighting and discussing sustainable business opportunities in the Goldfields. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to assist and lead a diverse group of people within different sectors. As a result, I have developed highly effective communication and strong interpersonal skills. This has allowed me to form successful work relationships and a wide referral network across Free State and Gauteng, that effectively promotes community engagement and encourages support in diverse areas. I play an active part in contributing to the community by supporting and assisting various companies in the Goldfields and also by being a member of the Free State Goldfields Chamber of Business. I also hold a part-time position at a Community Radio station Gold FM as a presenter. |
