1. Any student who wishes to become a student of the CUT through RPL must seek information from CUT. | Assessment and Graduation Unit

2. Applicants seeking credit must apply to the Assessment and Graduation Unit in writing by completing the specified form. The relevant school will assist the applicants with the completing of the documents. | Relevant Department |
3. The completed form and portfolio must be handed in at the enquiries desk of the Assessment and Graduation Unit. | Enquiries desk - Assessment and Graduation Unit – ZR Mahabane Building |
4. The RPL committee in the relevant faculty meets once a month to assess and finalise all applications received from the Schools in that faculty during that specific month. | Head of Department |
5. The Assessment and Graduation Unit in forms the applicant of the outcome of the application in writing. | Assessment and Graduation Unit |
6. A copy of the outcome is sent to the Academic Structure and Student Enrolment Unit for filing on the student file. | Academic Structure and Student Enrolment Unit |
