Selection Process & Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP)

Selection Process

Due to the professional nature of this degree, all applicants must successfully complete a formal selection process, which may include a psychometric evaluation, selection test, and/or interview. Provisionally admitted students are subject to a second round of selection after the submission of final NSC results.

Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) Option

If you are a First-Time Entering (FTE) student and narrowly miss the mainstream requirements, you may be considered for the ECP stream if you meet one of the following:

  • You achieved one level below the required mark in only one prerequisite subject (e.g., 40% instead of 50% in Life Sciences).
  • OR you meet all subject requirements but achieved one level below the required APS (M-score).

* Note: Students in the ECP may not change to the regular programme and must complete the ECP in full.
