Combined Assurance
Combined assurance involves integrating, coordinating and aligning the risk management and assurance processes within the university, in order to optimise and maximise the level of risk, governance and control oversight over the university's risk landscape. The university aims to optimise the assurance coverage obtained from Management, as well as internal and external assurance providers, on the risks facing the organisation.
The section coordinates combined assurance at the university, which is based on the five lines of assurance approach. The combined assurance model is designed and implemented to effectively address the organisation's significant risks and material matters through incorporation of the relevant assurance functions and services.
