  • Information Security & Ethical Hacking: Information Security Analyst, Cybersecurity Technician, and Network Security Administrator, leveraging specialised knowledge in Information Security to protect organisational assets and mitigate digital threats.
  • Systems & Server Administration: Server Administrator, Operating Systems Specialist, and IT Systems Engineer, utilising practical skills in Computer Server Administration and Operating Systems to maintain, configure, and secure critical business infrastructure.

Programme-Specific Requirements

Minimum Prior Qualification

An undergraduate Diploma in Computer Networking (or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification). This programme is specifically aimed at students progressing from this diploma, with content and exit-level outcomes aligned to the HEQSF and NQF Level 7 descriptors.

Required Academic Performance

  • A minimum average mark of 60% for the final-year subjects in the Diploma in Computer Networking.

Selection Process & Additional Requirements

This is a one-year, full-time programme with only one intake per year, in January. Admission is strictly based on the academic performance achieved in the final year of the prior diploma. The qualification will be issued upon the successful completion of 138 SAQA credits.
