Graduates! It is our honor to congratulate you, on behalf of the Central University of Technology, Free State Council, on the successful completion of your studies.

To safeguard the health of graduates, family members and employees, the University Senate resolved that CUT 2020 and 2021 Graduations Ceremonies be hosted virtually. The details of the next virtual graduation ceremonies on 14 October 2021 are here.

This communication is to guide graduates on the collection process of certificates. All spring 2021 graduates will receive their certificates as per below guidelines:

  2. Qualification certificates for all students (pending financial clearance) will be issued at the Bloemfontein or Welkom campuses respectively. The graduate shall then collect their certificate from the campus where the graduate was registered.
    • Pick up will commence from Friday, 15 October to Tuesday, 20 October 2021, 08:00 - 16:00. Venues are the Marketing and Communications Building, Bloemfontein Campus and N116, Welkom Campus. Certificates will not be issued without a valid identification document (Student card/ID/passport). For third-party collections valid identification document (ID/passport) of graduate and the individual collecting the certificate, as well as signed written consent from the graduate.
    • Courier service - graduates who are unable to collect from the campuses should forward their student number and current residential/business address to ekaodi@cut.ac.za, Bloemfontein Campus and kmotloheloa@cut.ac.za, Welkom Campus.

Following the period outlined, certificates must be collected from the Assessment and Graduation Unit offices at both campuses.
