The review forms part of a national quality assurance process to assess the quality and relevance of ITE qualifications in preparing future teachers for the profession. It also provides a platform for engagement with university representatives and other stakeholders, whose insights will inform the CHE’s evaluation of these programmes.
The site visit involves CHE-appointed review panel members and the Faculty of Humanities Executive Committee, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance and the continuous improvement of teacher education in South Africa.
