Programme-Specific RequirementsMinimum Prior QualificationA Bachelor’s degree or a three-year university diploma at NQF Level 6 (360 credits). Please note: Only university diplomas in fields of study approved by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) are accepted. Diplomas in fields such as languages, human resource management, marketing, or office management are not eligible unless specifically listed in the Minimum Requirements for Teacher Education Qualifications (MRTEQ) document. Selection Process & Additional RequirementsSelection ProcessSelection is strictly subject to the marks obtained in the major subjects of your degree/diploma, as well as lecturer capacity regarding specific methodologies. Additionally, a learning programme or module will not be offered if the specified minimum number of students has not enrolled.
