Recognised by Universities South Africa (USAf) as one of the best societal impact projects in the country, the Centre for Sustainable Smart Cities (CSSC) at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) is actively safeguarding regional water security. This flagship initiative monitors emerging contaminants and pollution in the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality’s water sources.
