CUT Welkom Campus celebrates love and language in a unique cultural fusion

The Welkom Campus students hosted a vibrant celebration titled "Love Language," which combined International Mother Language Day with a theme of love. This event united students to honour linguistic diversity, cultural appreciation, and meaningful connections.

The celebration included various exciting activities, such as a DIY love letters station where students expressed their feelings in their mother tongues, a couple pairing and reveal segment, a sip-and-paint session, readings of love letters, cultural dance performances, and poetry recitations.

International Mother Language Day at Welkom Campus

By celebrating the intersection of love and language, "Love Language" had a profound impact on our community. It fostered a deeper sense of community, encouraged cross-cultural understanding, and created lasting memories for students from diverse backgrounds. More than just a celebration, the event served as a powerful reminder of the role of language in building relationships and strengthening unity.
