In her message, she assured the team that CUT management is fully behind them and wants them to excel and do their best. “Sports, especially the Varsity Cup, is important for the institution as it is one factor that brings unity amongst our students. As a university, we are here to support you and we want you to perform well academically and in your sports endeavours. When you go out there, you go as ambassadors of this institution, so make us proud! Also, remember that this is a competition where you will win some and lose some. Please do not despair, have fun and enjoy your season. We are fully behind you and wish you all the best in your coming games,” she said.
