Postgraduate Idah Maujane Tukulu is excited to be part of the CUT Cycling Club

Idah Maujane Tukulu, born and bred in Phelindaba, Bloemfontein, City of Roses, is excited to be part of the CUT cycling club. She is a CUT postgraduate student pursuing her Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Marketing Management and Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transportation Management which she obtained Cum laude. Maujane is also a STEP Student Assistant in the Dean of Student Affairs office.

She joined the CUT cycling club because she has always been interested in cycling sport, and this was the perfect opportunity for her. "This is the best decision I have ever made. I got to mingle with funny, welcoming, and loving people willing to assist me with training after I acquire all the equipment."

It was her first time after years of not cycling, but she did not feel like an outsider due to the love of other members. "One thing I loved most was seeing female cyclists. It motivated me, as I see them carrying the women's flag higher."

Maujane thanked the management, staff, and external participants for the great opportunity. "I am encouraging other students to come and join the club to learn, network, and have fun because it is also good for our health. Let's use the available sports activities as part of student life and create the best memories in our university life. Let your light shine bright."

This fun and energetic individual also loves running, hiking, and church. On weekends she enjoys hikes with Bloem Social Hiking Club.
