On January 14, 2025, the CUT executive welcomed Cllr Rajesh Mahabeer as the new Chairperson of Council during his official visit to the Bloemfontein Campus.
His visit included round-table discussions, a campus tour, and a meet-and-greet with faculty deans and their teams. He toured several facilities, including the newly built student residence, the Student Academic Support Centre, the Centres of Excellence, and other recently acquired buildings.
This visit marks the beginning of a new era of strategic leadership following Dr Charity Mbileni-Morema’s term, which concluded in 2024.
