On 06 May 2017 the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) Welkom campus welcomed and opened gates to learners from various schools in the Lejweleputswa district and surrounding areas to the institutions annual event called Open day. Learners and parents filled the grounds and facilities of the institution to learn about the institution and what it has to offer. They engaged and interacted with faculty representatives and CUT staff members who assisted in providing beneficial information for learners to make informed career decisions.
