CUT welcome students from Netherlands at Bloemfontein Campus
The Department of Clinical Sciences at Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) welcomes four exchange students from the Hanze University in Groningen, Netherlands who will be learning more about the field of Radiography in South Africa and our country’s culture for 20 weeks.

“The main purpose of the exchange programme is to expose these students to Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme of the respective clinical practices including Clinical Imaging Department at Universitas Hospital and Radiation Oncology at National Hospital,” said Prof. Hesta Friedrich-Nel, Head of the Department: Clinical Sciences.   This programme is part of a productive student exchange project which is to enable these students to compile their portfolios and complete assignments for the duration of their training in various departments.  It also offers unique intercultural experiences through interactions with CUT students and broader community of Bloemfontein while in clinical practice.   The students were welcomed by the department upon their arrival in South Africa.
