A sincere thank you to you and the team from CUT for opening your hearts and donating your time to brighten up our school grounds, and more importantly the lives of our learners”, said Mrs Marlene le Grange, Principal of the Tswellang School. The programme spearheaded by Mr Skillie Bester and Ms Willien Fourie - both sports management lecturers at CUT - saw third year students display their compassionate spirit by painting swings, jungle gyms and repairing the playground equipment where they are needed. “Throughout the years, the event management team identified a need to donate food and expose the students to various sporting activities for the persons with disabilities, thus allowing those interested in becoming coaches to kick start their career prospect in coaching the pupils.” said Ms Willien Fourie. The students also engaged in a number of sporting activities and games with the children at the school. Tswellang was not the only school partaking in the project; Martie du Plessis School is another school that benefited from CUT’s community programme  which Kloppers sponsored.
