Bloemfontein Celtics honoured CUT house committee members and sports students at Gymnos Residence when they officially handed over a signed and framed Celtic Football Club jersey that will be hung on the walls of recreation rooms and main entrances at the residence.

According to Beauty Nelani, Acting Assistant Residence Manager, the main objective of the handover is to enhance partnership with strategic stakeholders, show-off their pride and confidence in local teams and the relationship we have with them. “Having the Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club and Toyota Free State Cheetahs on our walls as provincial teams will not only provide an opportunity for CUT community to interact with provincial partners, but will also enhance the students’ experience at CUT,” she said. Gymnos accommodates 31 CUT sports men (soccer and rugby) and it is headed by warden, Mr Erich Pretorius.
