CUT opens doors to class of 2015
Scores of learners from all walks of lives attended the annual open day at Bloemfontein campus to explore and experience the campus life and study opportunities at CUT. Approximately 4000 learners turned up for this event which shows huge increase as compared to 3138 learners in 2014, 2886 in 2013 and 1461 in 2012. Others were prospective students from SADC region.

Faculty representatives, lecturers, deans of faculties and advisors provided valuable information to the learners on study options, programmes and other related questions about admissions, fees, accommodation, study loans, bursaries and scholarships. Learners, parents and teachers had an opportunity to tour the campus and meet face to face with lecturers. High-standard career exhibition stalls manned by professional academics were visited and visual projects were also demonstrated. Learners were also afforded an opportunity to apply for 2016 academic year. CUT FM and OFM kept learners upbeat with entertainment and competitions throughout the day.
