CUT FNB Ixias excited to kick off the 2023 Varsity Cup Rugby Tournament

The 2023 Varsity Cup Tournament is about to kick off and the Central University of Technology FNB Rugby team (FNB CUT Ixias) are ready for their first match of the season which will take place at the CUT Rugby Stadium against FNB WITS on 20 February 2023 at 15:30.

To prepare for the tournament, the FNB CUT Ixias held an activation on campus not only to introduce the team but to encourage students to support the FNB CUT Ixias team. The team has stood the test of time in the Varsity Cup as one of the smallest universities participating in the cup.

Tickets will be on sale for R10 per person and R5 if students are wearing the CUT branded or supporter’s T-shirts.

The FNB Varsity Cup is an annual South African tournament involving the country's top rugby-playing universities.

Let us support our boys and keep the spirit of sports alive.
