Each year, CUT confers degrees to students who have finally seen the light at the end of the varsity tunnel by meeting the exit level requirements of their respective study path, and ultimately marking a milestone in academia. On the day, CUT was also honoured by the presence of the MEC for Education, Mr Tate Makgoe who availed time in his busy schedule to join the academia and witness the sterling work done by CUT, in producing scores of industry-ready workforce whose purpose is to generate positive outputs that will shape the industry, thus making South Africa, and the entire continent a better place. “You have come to the end of the first phase of your career path, go out there, and share your acquired knowledge with the rest of the world! There will be challenges to face but as a CUT graduate, we are sure that you are ready to conquer them,” said Prof. Neil Garrod, Acting Vice-Chancellor for the institution.
