CUT and UWC equalises at their first 2023 Varsity Football game

Central University of Technology and the University of the Western Cape (UWC) went head-on at their first varsity football match which took place on 27 July 2023 at the CUT sports grounds. 

In the first half of the match, the CUT scored their first goal and the crowd reacted with excitement and enthusiasm as the ball hit the back of the net.

Amid the battle, an equaliser goal changed the dynamics of the game with an overall score of CUT 1-1 UWC.

This brought both teams a renewed sense of urgency and determination as they fought tooth and nail to secure a victory.
