CUT Academics raise above the bar
The MEC for Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development, Honourable Manketsi Tlhape, recently officiated an inaugural ceremony of fifteen newly elected Advisory Council Members at Taung Agricultural College.  Two of CUT academic staff members were amongst the 15 elected members. Dr Moosa Sedibe is currently a lecturer and research manager at the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences. He was elected as the new Chairperson. He holds an MSc and a PhD Degrees in Agronomy and has presented over 10 scientific papers at national and international. Another member, also from CUT is Prof. Pieter J Fourie, an Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture. He was elected as the Deputy Chairperson. Prof Fourie has a vast experience in lecturing, scientific research, a supervisor to post graduate students (including doctorates) and an author to over 20 scientific papers.
