Advancing Resources and Operations Excellence: CUT welcomes Ms Marcella Dlamini

Ms Marcella Dlamini, newly appointed Executive Secretary in the Office of the Executive Director: Resources and Operations.

Ms Marcella “MaDlamini” Dlamini has joined the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) as Executive Secretary in the Office of the Executive Director: Resources and Operations. Fondly known as MaDlamini, Marcella hails from Vryheid, a small inland town in KwaZulu-Natal.

She brings more than 25 years of extensive professional experience, having served in several leading organisations, including Transnet SOC, the South African Reserve Bank, and the Department of Science and Innovation. Her career reflects a strong commitment to excellence, governance, and service within complex institutional environments.

MaDlamini is deeply passionate about continuous learning and lifelong development. She holds a Master of Commerce degree, a BCom Law degree, and other professional qualifications, and is currently pursuing an LLB degree.

She is enthusiastic about joining the CUT community and looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the success of the Resources and Operations portfolio and to the advancement of the university’s strategic objectives.
