Academic hoists CUT’s flag high at German universities
Prof. Tshedi Naong, Head of the Department of Business Management in the Faculty of Management Sciences at CUT visited two partner universities in Germany namely, Aalen University of Applied Sciences as well as Harz University of Applied Sciences in December 2016 on staff exchange programme and collaborative research initiatives.

The partnership between these two German universities is part of CUT’s internationalisation strategy intended to expose students and academic staff to the globalised world. His engagements with Deans of the Faculty of Management Sciences and International Office Directors covered a myriad of substantive and mutually beneficial issues such as the importance of understanding current international landscape and opportunities facing universities globally and how to create a better global community through partnership.  He also presented guest lectures at both these institutions. CUT is already making great strides in relation to some of its commitments with regard to these partnerships. These include internationalisation of CUT’s curriculum and its footprint globally, as well as discussion on double-degree programmes between CUT and these institutions which is gaining momentum. In addition, a group of not less than 15 students from Aalen University will be at our shores attending a one-week block release HR programme at CUT during the Easter recess in 2017. There is a standing arrangement to have yearly inbound and outbound students and staff exchange annually between CUT and these partner institutions.
