Protea Hotel by Marriott® Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge, Cape Town, South Africa

The conference will be co-hosted by the Nelson Mandela University (NMU) and the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT).
Solving current industrial problems requires cross-disciplinary knowledge and approaches. The International Conference on Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM) provides a platform for the discussion of innovative research and practice and creative cross-breeding of the multidisciplinary fields of engineering and management.
This is the forum for researchers, engineers, managers, students, and practitioners to present and discuss current and emerging research issues, problems, questions, findings, and new developments.
The conference hosts theoretical discussions, data analysis, case studies, and industrial practices in form of research papers, which provides a great opportunity for research and industrial networking.
- EPPM-Conference is indexed in Web of Science (ISI) and EBSCO in 2017.
- Accepted papers are indexed in SCOPUS.

The conference comprises of three events, i.e. EPPM-Industry, EPPM-Conference, and EPPM-Academy.
A field trip associated with EPPM is provided in the EPPM-Industry to stimulate dialogues between academic and practitioners; Best Paper and Excellent Paper Awards are issued in the EPPM-Conference. High quality papers are recommended for publication in the EPPM-Journal; EPPM-Academy provides a student-led platform for graduate students to improve their research and leaderships. Student Competition Awards are issued to those students with outstanding academic performance and leadership.
The 2018 (9th) International Conference on Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM2018) will be co-held on September 24-26, 2018 in Cape Town, South Africa by Nelson Mandela University and Central University of Technology.
The three EPPM focus areas
Industry | One mission of EPPM-Industry is to connect academic and practitioners. The main idea is to bring industrial issues to stimulate academic solutions and vice versa help practitioners build up systematic approaches. An industrial symposium is held after the trip. |
Conference | EPPM-Conference has been indexed in Web of Science (ISI) and EBSCO since 2017. The conference provides a major international platform for the discussion of innovative research, practice, and creative cross-breeding of the multidisciplinary fields of engineering, project, and production management. This is the forum for researchers, engineers, managers, students, and practitioners to present and discuss current and emerging research issues, problems, questions, findings, and new developments. The conference hosts theoretical discussions, data analysis, case studies, and industrial practices in form of research papers or workshops.See Opportunities for awards and publication. Conference proceedings are indexed in SCOPUS.See the Call for papers |
Academy | EPPM-Academy provides a session for graduate students to present their research ideas. A panel of experts in engineering, project, and production management helps graduate students improve their research. For those graduate students who are interested in participating in this unique event should submit abstracts to EPPM2018 for admission through the online submission system.Draft and initial research reports addressing research ideas are welcome.
