Dear Prospective Landlords,

Please be advised of the following updates regarding new landlord accreditations for the 2027 academic year at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT):

• Bloemfontein Campus: We will not be opening applications for new landlord accreditations due to an oversupply of student beds in the area.
• Welkom Campus: Applications will be opened to address the ongoing shortage of student accommodation.

Additionally, our primary focus for 2027 will be on conducting spot checks and monitoring compliance among existing accredited landlords to ensure all accommodation standards and requirements are strictly maintained.

We appreciate your continued interest in providing student accommodation and thank you for your understanding. Further communication regarding future accreditation opportunities will be shared when applicable.
