Professional Background

Ms Jaydee Snyman is the Operational Manager of the Hotel School at the Central University of Technology (CUT), Free State, where she has served in this role for the past ten years. She holds a BTech Degree and a National Diploma in Hospitality Management, alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management, completed Cum Laude in 2024.

With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Ms Snyman has built a strong professional profile in food and beverage operations, fine dining, and event management. Her career includes senior management positions at prominent establishments, notably as General Manager of Coco C Restaurant & Chocolatier and at The Terrace Restaurant @ Oliewenhuis. Her combined industry and academic experience enables her to effectively bridge professional practice with hospitality education. She has previously served as a part-time lecturer and continues to play a key role in mentoring students through operational training and experiential learning. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through the University of Johannesburg Business School.
